13 Most Anticipated Movies of 2018

The movie calendar for 2018 includes Thrillers, Fantasies, Science- Fictions, Crime-Heists and a few Superhero blockbusters. Below is a list of my most anticipated 2018 films.

BLACK PANTHER (February 16)
The MCU Superhero starring Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, Daniel Kaluuya, Michael B. Jordan and Forest Withaker is one film I'm so sure is going to lead at the box office. Wakanda Forever!
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (May 4)
After Black Panther comes Infinity War. All the Avengers, including Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther and Spider Man team up to stop Thanos from causing havoc.
DEADPOOL (June 1)
I’m so excited to see what Marvel has in store for the sequel to the 2015 R-Rated Superhero film. Deadpool is going to go against ninjas, the yakuza and a pack of aggressive canines.
OCEANS 8 (June 8)
Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Cate Blanchett and Akwafina star in this Crime-Heist Thriller. I don’t think I need to say more.
ANNIHILATION (February 23)
Starring Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez and Tessa Thompson, Annihilation follows an all female team as they explore a deadly environmental disaster zone. It’s based on Jeff Vandetmeers award winning trilogy.
MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE (January 26)
In the final installment of the Maze Runner trilogy, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his friends must survive the deadliest maze ever created in order to get all their questions answered. The first two films did extremely well at the box office so I have no doubts that this will do the same.
AQUAMAN (December 21)
The upcoming DC Comics follows the events of Justice League and Arthur Curry/ Aquaman is caught between surface dwellers who are polluting the globe and his people who want to invade the surface. Justice League was a bit underwhelming but for some reason I’m really looking forward to seeing Jason Momoa as the titular character. I hope it doesn't flop in the box office.
X MEN: DARK PHOENIX (November 2)
Starring Sophie Turner, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain, the Marvel Comics film is set in the 1990’s, a decade after the events of X-Men: Apocalypse and is based on the “Dark Phoenix Saga”.
THE EQUALIZER 2 (August 3)
Antoine Fuqua is directing the sequel to 2014’s The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington. Very little is known about the plot and no trailer has been released but I’m sure it’s going to be very thrilling to watch.
JURASSIC WORLD FALLEN KINGDOM (June 22)
It's set four years after destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt and encounter a new breed of dinosaurs and uncover a conspiracy that threatens the planet.
READY PLAYER ONE (March 30)
Steven Spielberg directs this Science Fiction Adventure based on Ernest Cline's bestseller of the same name. I'm so ready for this.
A WRINKLE IN TIME (March 9)
I'll never pass out an opportunity to see an Ava DuVernay movie and I'm excited about this Fantasy/Science Fiction which stars Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Zach Galifianakis.
12 STRONG (February 19)
Who doesn’t love a good War film? I know I do. Chris Hemsworth leads the cast in this War Drama which is based on Doug Stanton’s non-fiction book “Horse Soldiers”.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I c...

Goodbye Mike & Rachel- Suits' Seventh Season Finale Review

Suits is one of my favorite Legal Drama's and for some reason, I'm still very invested in the show after 7 seasons. I don't think they've had any bad season and they've done such a great job with the growth and development of the major characters but the time to say goodbye to Mike and Rachel was finally here. Due to the fact that Meghan Markle would be getting married to Prince Harry, I guess it was a good time to wrap up her love story with Mike and they do this with the fairy tale wedding we've all been waiting for. Mike and Rachel have been an item since the first season and have been engaged since the fifth. They would have been married a season ago but were not able to because of Mike's time in prison. I always loved their chemistry and I was so sad to see them say goodbye and more than anything, I loved Mike and Harvey's relationship. It was so genuine and pure. The two final episodes of the final season of Suits aired back to back and...

Snowfall Season One Finale Review- "The Rubicon"

There's no denying that this season has been intense for the four major characters and everyone around them. The first season of Snowfall was all over the place but the by the 8th episode, I was convinced the writers finally got their thoughts together. The pilot episode was good and I felt this was a show I was going to fall in love with, but it became a struggle to watch after the third episode.  They got my attention back after Leon was shot in the final scene of the 8th episode. Franklin got himself into a very dangerous business which I still think he hasn't fully realized. He wants to hustle hard and make sure he's mom doesn't have to bother herself about anything, but she's disappointed when she finds out about her son's extra curricular activities. The neighborhood knows that he's the boss and he's really all about the money.  Damson Idris brings his character of Franklin to life and I couldn't see anyone else playing this role. He's ...
