Sherlock: The Final Problem

Image via bbc.com In The Final Problem, we got to see one of the most evil villains after Moriarty and and she was a Holmes. This season finale which I still hope isn't the end of the series was very intense and full of mystery. Instead of starting from where the last cliff hanging episode ended with Euros Holmes pointing a gun at John, the episode begins with a little girl on a plane with everyone sleeping. She picks up a phone and we hear the voice of no other than Moriarty. "Hello, my name is Jim Moriarty. Welcome to the final problem." In the next scene, Mycroft is watching an old movie which gets interrupted by a message saying "I'm back!". The lights start flickering, so Mycroft gets up to look around the basement and blood starts coming out of the eyes of the pictures on the walls. He thinks Euros is actually in his apartment but apparently it was only Sherlock & John putting up a show to scare him into telling them about Euros. They all ...

Sherlock: The Lying Detective

Image via bbc.co.uk The Lying Detective is what I describe as a real Sherlock episode which was much stronger than the last episode, The Six Thatchers . After watching this episode I was thrown into all sorts of thoughts and questions. The episode begins with John (who is still mourning) at a therapist's office and he  starts hallucinating and talking to Mary who is dead. Sherlock is back on drugs, isn't keen on seeing anyone and has a drug dealer living with him. The first thirty minutes were filled with voice overs, flashbacks, visual effects and playful transition. Faith the daughter of Culverton Smith, a famous entrepreneur and philanthropist visits Sherlock at his apartment. She tells him about a meeting she had with her father and a few other people three years ago where her father connects everyone in the room to a drip with a drug that would erase their memory after he tells them that he was going to kill someone. She gives Sherlock a paper where she managed to wri...

Sherlock: The Six Thatchers

Image via bbc.co.uk After waiting for three years, Sherlock finally returned with its fourth season on January 1, 2017. The Six Thatchers was still worth the wait even with the tragedy. Watching Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock has to be one of the best things about Television. As expected, the season began with a bang! In the last episode of the third season, "His Last Vow", Sherlock shot Charles Augustus Magnussen which was quite a shock because we all know Sherlock isn't a murderer. After this incident, Mycroft sends Sherlock away to Eastern Europe and just before he leaves, he gets a call that his greatest enemy Moriarty who was presumed dead appeared on every screen in England saying "Did you miss me?". The fourth season begins with Sherlock in Mycroft's office eating biscuits and tweeting away while Mycroft and some government officials explain how the murder committed by Sherlock would be covered up. I expected to see how murdering someone wo...
