In "Hella Perspective", they take us through the past 30 days of Lawrence (Jay Ellis), Issa (Issa Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) before bringing us to the present. Lawrence runs in the marathon and sees Molly and Issa on the sidelines, but ignores them. Things with Aparna (Jasmine Kaur) are also going very well but he doesn't like the fact that she slept with their co-worker, Collin and he mentions it to her while they sit in traffic. He's obviously not over what Issa did to him. Aparna gets offended and storms out of the car when she sees a call from Issa on his phone.
