Binge Worthy:Ryan Murphy's "The Politician" -Review

Payton Hobart (Ben Platt) is a wealthy student whose plan is to one day become the President of the United States. He has wanted this ever since he was seven years old but first, he has to get through the most dangerous political hurdle of all, Saint Sebastian High School. In order to be the President of Student Body, study at Harvard and continue on his path to becoming  the President of the United States, Payton has to outsmart his ruthless classmates while making sure he doesn't sacrifice his morals. I’m always excited about anything attached to Ryan Murphy and I didn’t know what exactly to expect when I started with the pilot of The Politician but as the story progressed, I got more and more into it and wished it had more episodes.  Ben Platt is an absolute joy to watch as Payton and his characters relationship and chemistry with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Georgina was definitely the best thing about the show. Review- Farming (2019)

    Baby Farming is the  practice of accepting custody of an infant or child in exchange for payment in late Victorian Era Britain. Farming is based on the Writer and Director's ( Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje ) childhood about a young boy who was farmed out in the 1960's by his Nigerian parents to a white British family with hopes of a better future. Damson Idris (Snowfall) plays Enitan, the young Nigerian boy who struggles severely with his identity. I really looked forward to seeing Farming ever since the first trailer was released and it ended up being a really emotional one. According to Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the movie was in development for about 15 years and I can't help but imagine how making and eventually putting out this film would rile up a lot of emotions he must have buried years ago.
