There were so many amazing shows in 2019, from The Crown to Chernobyl to When They See Us and The Act, it was hard to make this list but these shows stood out for me this year and had so many unforgettable performances. In no particular order, here are my favorite shows in 2019 FLEABAG (Season 2) In my 20 something years on this planet, I've seen a lot of shows but I haven't seen a lot of shows that are as good as Fleabag. I've been obsessed with Phoebe Waller-Bridge ever since I saw the BBC Tragi-Comedy. So many emotions came with watching Fleabag. I laughed, cried, chuckled, gasped, etc and I was super sad at the end. I still don't understand how a show can be that good! Phoebe Waller-Bridge must be protected at all costs! The best thing about Fleabag was the way Waller-Bridge broke the fourth-wall. It's almost award season and the nominations have started rolling in! The nominations for the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday with The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Bombshell leading the pack in the Movie section while The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, The Morning Show, Barry and Fleabag emerged as some of the TV nominees. The nominations for the 2020 Golden Globe awards were announced on Monday the 9th of December by Tim Allen, Dakota Fanning and Susan Kelechi Watson. Some of the nominees include Chernobyl, Joker, The Act, The Irishman, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Marriage Story, Knives Out and Fleabag.
