Snowfall Season One Finale Review- "The Rubicon"

   There's no denying that this season has been intense for the four major characters and everyone around them. The first season of Snowfall was all over the place but the by the 8th episode, I was convinced the writers finally got their thoughts together. The pilot episode was good and I felt this was a show I was going to fall in love with, but it became a struggle to watch after the third episode.  They got my attention back after Leon was shot in the final scene of the 8th episode. Franklin got himself into a very dangerous business which I still think he hasn't fully realized. He wants to hustle hard and make sure he's mom doesn't have to bother herself about anything, but she's disappointed when she finds out about her son's extra curricular activities. The neighborhood knows that he's the boss and he's really all about the money.  Damson Idris brings his character of Franklin to life and I couldn't see anyone else playing this role. He's ...

Snowfall Season One Premiere Review

Image via neogaf.com After seeing the trailer for FX's "Snowfall", I knew this was something I had to see, mostly because It's totally different from any story line on TV right now. A lot of TV shows have similar story lines and making something that stands out is always a plus. In most cases, a Pilot can either make or break the show and how its accepted by the audience. This drama focuses on the 1980's rise of crack cocaine in the United States. It's set in Los Angeles, California and follows different characters whose storylines might intertwine in the near future. The characters include drug dealer Franklin Saint, Mexican Wrestler Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata, CIA operative Teddy McDonald and Lucia Villanueva, the daughter of a Mexican Crime Boss.
