The Gifted Mid Season Finale- "eXploited"

The mutants have been through so much this season from losing some of their members to hiding and running away from the Sentinel Services. In the episode before the mid-season finale, the mutants saved a few refugees and unknowingly let in a crazy telepath, Esme, into their fold. Esme is able to manipulate the mutants and the Struckers and by the end of the episode is reunited with her family. She gets Caitlyn & Reed to go on a mission to Agent Turners house and convince him to transfer the captured mutants from Trask Industries and gets the mutants to take her to where the transport will take place. Esme revealed her true powers and she's not only able to read minds but control them. She also has two evil sisters who help her take down the Sentinel Services and break the other mutant prisoners free. I had a bad feeling about Esme when she kept insisting that she needed to get her family and it became obvious that she was not team Underground when she manipulated everyone....

The Gifted Season One Premiere: "eXposed"

Image via ign.com     The Gifted is set in an alternate timeline after the events of X Men: Days of The Future Past. Mutants publicly co exist with humans but the mutants are still hunted by the police and treated as second class citizens and its premise follows the Strucker family. The father, Reed (Stephen Moyer) is a mutant prosecutor while the mother, Caitlyn (Amy Acker) is a nurse. They have a daughter Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind) and a son, Andy (Percy Hines) who are both mutants. Things go south when an incident at a school dance brings out Andy's powers and prompts Lauren to reveal her previously hidden powers. This becomes a serious problem for the Strucker family because they immediately have to go on the run from the government's Sentinel Services, an organization with the aim of capturing mutants.
