La La Land took home 6 awards out of the 14 nominations, Moonlight won 3 while Hacksaw Ridge and Manchester by the sea won 2. The most shocking moment of the night was when La La Land was mistakenly announced as the winner in the Best Picture category, the winner was actually Moonlight. The error was corrected and the cast and crew of Moonlight got on the stage to receive their award. Mahershala Ali also took home the award for Best Supporting Actor for Moonlight and Viola Davis took home the award for Bet Supporting Actress for her role in Fences. How To Get Away With Murder Finale: "He Made a Terrible Mistake"/ "Wes"

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! This story contains spoilers about the third season Finale of How To Get Away With Murder. Read at your own risk.       After all the suspense, we finally know who killed Wes. I was a little pissed when I found out how he died, every theory I had about his death was wrong. "He Made a Terrible Mistake" begins with Connor struggling with his feelings about the investigation, though he still believes Annalise killed Wes. Annalise is at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and they talk about mistakes they've made and where it has gotten them. Just as this is going on, Connor is reevaluating his life and almost gets hit by a bus. We're still not sure what role he played in Wes' death.  Back in the courtroom, Bonnie argues to dismiss Annalise's case by putting Atwood on the stand, accusing her of cremating Wes' body. She denies it but the fact that Charles Mahoney had just been released from jail makes Annalise suspicious of her acti

Madeline's best friend is Celeste (Nicole Kidman), she's married to a younger man and has twin sons. Jane's son, Ziggy is accused of choking Renata Klein's (Laura Dern) daughter. Ziggy denies it and his mother believes him which draws a battle line between she and Renata. Image via imdb.com   Through the course of the episode, it is revealed that Madeline isn't happy with the fact that her ex husband Nathan (James Tupper) is married to Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz), a young yoga instructor. Her teenage daughter is also building a relationship with Bonnie and this stirs some worry within her. Celeste doesn't s

The Good Fight Premiere: "Inauguration" & "First Week"

Image via google.com I must confess, when I found out that The Good Wife was going to have a spinoff, I was extremely excited. I was a HUGE fan of The Good Wife and watching the first two episodes of The Good Fight gave me goose bumps. I realized how much I missed seeing Alicia, Will, Kalinda, Cary and Eli (especially Eli). I'm thinking of binge watching the entire series again, but I'd probably skip Will's death which drained me emotionally. Okay, let's get back to The Good Fight!  Of course I was elated to see Diane again, who still never disappoints with her wardrobe. She is forced out of her firm which had changed from Lockhart Gardner to Lockhart, Decker, Gussman, Lee, Lyman, Gilbert-Lurie, Kagan, Tannebaum, & Associates; after she loses her life savings in a financial scam. Diane's Goddaughter Maia Rindell, whose father was accused and arrested for the scam moves with Diane to Reddick, Boseman and Kolstad. Lucca Quinn is also a lawyer at this firm
