The 49th NAACP Image Awards had a 2 night event honoring entertainers in the movie, TV & music world. On Sunday night, 47 Awards were given out at a non-televised event while the main award show held on Monday night with Blackish’s Anthony Anderson as the host. Ava Duvernay took home the award for Entertainer of the year while “Girls Trip” won the award for Best Motion Picture. Other winners include Jordan Peele, Daniel Kaluuya, Marsai Martin, Tiffany Haddish, Octavia Spencer and Omari Hardwick.
