The hype surrounding Marvel’s Black Panther has been insane! Everyone has been excited about the fact that we’re finally getting an almost all black cast in a superhero movie and not just any cast. From T’Challa himself, Chadwick Boseman to Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright and Danai Gurira. These are all phenomenal actors and I was really looking forward to seeing what they’ll do with their roles. News flash! They murdered it! I don’t think they would have done better with another cast. Boseman brought his A-game and had amazing chemistry with Nyong’o, Gurira and Wright. How beautiful was Bassett? I couldn’t stop admiring how glorious she looked in all her attires and kept wondering how she looked that amazing at 59. Letitia Wright stole every single scene she appeared in and I couldn’t get enough of her tech wiz/ fashion enthusiast character. Winston Duke as M’Baku was also one of my favorites. He stood as a comic relief when necessary and didn’t force it in any way. I honestly thought the fake accents were going to make me cringe, but thankfully they all sounded alright.

In my opinion, the best thing about this film was the costume. It was obvious that proper research went into it and it came out looking so flawless. The Costume Designer deserves a few awards. The cinematography was superb and Wakanda looked so mystical. It was a visual joy to behold. I could feel Kendrick Lamar all over the soundtrack. He did such an awesome job. I read a few tweets about how the action and the villain weren’t all that. I loved Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger. You could literally feel how angry and passionate he was about getting back to Wakanda and killing T’Challa. He was fueled by revenge and was willing to do anything to achieve his goal. I think Michael B. Jordan killed it! The actions scenes were pretty good and very well directed although I felt like the final fight scene between Black Panther and Killmonger could have been more intense. Ryan Coogler did an amazing job with this film and I’m glad they didn’t go with any other person. This film deals with the subject of identity, colonialism and Isolationism, which Wakanda practiced. Its no surprise that a lot of Blacks are excited about this film. It’s everything I imagined it to be and more and I’m so glad it lived up to the hype. Infinity War is almost here, I hope we're all ready?

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el
