Suits Winter Premiere: Recap

Image via google.com
The mid season finale ended with Harvey telling Donna that he was going to be okay after Jessica left. "She's Gone" continued from where the last episode left of with a Donna and Harvey (#Darvey) dream which I honestly thought was real for a few seconds until I realized it could only be a dream. I knew that the writers wouldn't rush through something so important. That scene was such a tease but at least we know it'll happen sometime in the future. Harvey definitely has very strong feelings for Donna which he probably doesn't want to get into at the moment. Robert Zane offers his daughter Rachel a job at his firm so she'll have a better chance at passing the character and fitness portion of the Bar but Rachel declines telling him she can't abandon her work family at Pearson Specter Litt when they need her the most. Mike hops back on his bike looking for a job at different legal clinics but he comes to term with the fact that no one wants to hire an ex convict. Louis wants to prove to Harvey and Zane (who only wanted to help) that he is Managing Partner material so he asks Katrina to come back to the firm with 10 associates. She agrees to this but backs out when Louis tells her he's going after Zane's biggest client. She tells him that Zane had waved her non-compete clause which meant he was really trying to help.

Mike goes to see Father Walker at the church and he is offered a teaching job. His teaching path didn't last long and he was let go on the second day after a student's parents who weren't happy with the fact that he is an ex-con said something to the school. Harvey who is still going through a lot of heartbreak after his work mother Jessica leaves the firm tries to help Mike by going to Anita Gibbs putting Mike on her radar again. She tells Mike to never ever look for a job at a legal clinic or anywhere that has to do with him practicing the law because she would do everything in her power to stop him. Robert angrily tells Harvey of Louis' plan making Harvey realize that he actually had to tell Louis that he couldn't be Managing Partner. Mike goes to Harvey and tells him he'll never come back to the firm even when he's able to practice law again.

Harvey planned to let Louis down gently but after seeing Mike he lashes out on Louis who was just about to tell him that he isn't ready to be Managing Partner. Donna tells Harvey that he needs to sort out his personal life and fix his relationship with his mother. I can only imagine the emotional roller coaster this is going to be. The episode is all about everyone trying to find their way and having a fresh start. Jessica leaving the firm is going to affect everyone in one way or the other especially Harvey who was like her son. Harvey came to terms with the fact that he had to buckle up and not tarnish all that Jessica had worked for.

Directed by Patrick J. Adams, everything about this episode was on point. We know for sure that the remaining part of the season will deal with Mike finding himself, Harvey filling in Jessica's really big shoes, Louis' wedding (if it'll actually happen) and Rachel getting through law school and passing the character and fitness test. Everyone has different goals and aspirations which hopefully they'll fulfill before the end of the season.

Randoms
1. Suits has been renewed for a seventh season by the USA Network
2. One of my favorite scenes was when Louis offered Rachel a job as a second year associate when she graduates from law school as gratitude for her undying loyalty.
3. Did anyone know that Stephen Macht who plays the character Henry Girard is actually Gabriel Macht's (Harvey Specter) real father? I just found out.
4. #Darvey #Darvey #Darvey

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

"Don't Tell Mama"- The Shocking Sharp Objects Season Finale

Sharp Objects easily tops the list of my all time favorite TV Series. The HBO Limited Series aired it eight and final episode last night and it's something I'll probably never forget. I'm trying so hard to find the right words to describe this amazing show and the phenomenal acting from Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson and Eliza Scanlen. They were just too perfect. Throughout the season, we've all been trying to figure out who the killer was in this whodunnit and I had so many theories. I never believed it was John Keene because most times, it's always the person you least expect that'll end up being the perpetrator. My first suspect was Alan (Henry Czerny), Adora's husband and Amma's father. I thought the only reason he would venture out to killing teenage girls was due to the fact that he was no longer as had a bond with his daughter and his loveless marriage but I was so wrong. Then I thought it was the Police Chief, Bill who was in cahoots with Ado

Chicago Justice: Series Premiere/Crossover Episode-"Fake"

Image via imdb.com I looked forward to seeing Chicago Justice after it was announced because I love the One Chicago universe even though I'm yet to see the other shows, i'm very familiar with their stories and characters. I'm a crazy fan of Chicago PD so I'm going to binge watch all the episodes of Chicago Fire, but I don't think I'll be able to see Chicago Med. Medical shows are too emotional for me. With Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, I don't know where to start from, but I'll binge watch from season one to eighteen whenever I can for sure.  The four part crossover started with an episode on Chicago Fire and concluded in the season premiere of Chicago Justice. There is a fire at a warehouse and the Chicago Fire crew think it's an accident but Severide (Taylor Kinney) finds metal wedges shoved under the door which means whoever started the fire wanted everyone trapped inside, so its arson.
