"Don't Tell Mama"- The Shocking Sharp Objects Season Finale

Sharp Objects easily tops the list of my all time favorite TV Series. The HBO Limited Series aired it eight and final episode last night and it's something I'll probably never forget. I'm trying so hard to find the right words to describe this amazing show and the phenomenal acting from Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson and Eliza Scanlen. They were just too perfect. Throughout the season, we've all been trying to figure out who the killer was in this whodunnit and I had so many theories. I never believed it was John Keene because most times, it's always the person you least expect that'll end up being the perpetrator. My first suspect was Alan (Henry Czerny), Adora's husband and Amma's father. I thought the only reason he would venture out to killing teenage girls was due to the fact that he was no longer as had a bond with his daughter and his loveless marriage but I was so wrong. Then I thought it was the Police Chief, Bill who was in cahoots with Adora by helping her cover her tracks but then again, I was wrong. Amma was also on the list but I didn't think of her as the killer as much as I thought about her dad.
I never read the book by Gillian Flynn so I had no idea who the killer was and I was glad because I really wanted to the surprised with the reveal. In the penultimate episode of Sharp Objects, Camille found out that her mother killed her little sister and she was heartbroken. Apparently, Adora's Manchausen by proxy led her to poison her daughter and it was somewhat covered up by Bill. She went down that path again in "Milk" by feeding Camille & Amma rat poison, antifreeze and a bunch of other prescription medication. A pair of bloody pliers were also found in the kitchen leading the police to conclude that she was the killer.
Amma moves to St. Louis to live with her sister, Camille and their lives seemed a little normal again. She even becomes friends with the neighbors daughter, Mae. But, while having dinner with Mr. Curry & his wife, Mae says she's thinking about going into Journalism and Amma says she's saying that to impress Camille and calls her a kiss ass. I knew something bad was going to happen when Amma said that. She doesn't do too well with competition and she didn't want anyone to come in between her new found relationship with her sister. If only Mae knew. Next thing, Mae's mom is telling Camille that the girls had an argument and she can't find Mae. Ooops!! AMMA KILLED HER!!
What sealed the deal was when Camille found out that the ivory tiles on Adora's bedroom floor of Amma's dollhouse were teeth! Human teeth!! Amma walks into the room and says "Don't tell mama". This reveal was extremely shocking for me! She had been the killer all along. The mid-credits scene gave us further proof that Amm was indeed the killer. We see pink nails against a fence. Amma strangling Ann with her roller blading friends, Jodes & Kelsey helping her. Amma is also shown strangling Natalie with her friends assisting her. She's also shown strangling Mae. The pink nails belonged to Mae. The mid credits scene lasted for a few seconds and it's best not to blink because you'll definitely miss something if you do.
Sharp Objects was slow paced but the last two episodes were so thrilling to watch. I couldn't get enough of Amy Adams especially the scene were she was crawling naked on the floor after being poisoned by her mom. I was in awe of how amazing her acting was. The story had so many hidden elements that one would ordinarily miss. They were so many clues that pointed to Amma as the killer. The way she switched personalities was more than enough reason to believe that she was capable of murdering the girls. Don't get up quickly because there's also a post credits scene. The final image gives us a quick glimpse of Amma as the Woman in White! Everything about this show was perfect and I particularly loved the ending. What's Camille going to do now that she knows her sister's the killer? Good luck Camille!!

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el
