Game of Thrones Season 8- Everything You Need to Know Before the Finale

Millions of people all over the world (including me) have been waiting and literally counting down to the epic final season of HBO's Game of Thrones and I'm so excited that the moment is almost here.So much went down in the last season and now that winter is finally here, it's important we all catch up and take a quick walk down memory lane.

CERSEI LANNISTER
Cersei is the current ruler of King's Landing and she's carrying her brother, Jamie's child. She lost all three of her children in the previous seasons with two getting poisoned and one committing suicide by jumping off a window. At the end of season 7, the major contenders for the throne all met for the first time at King's Landing to discuss the forthcoming winter. Cersei feels threatened by Daenerys and her dragons and this led her to borrowing a large sum of money from the Iron Bank to be able to find and create new weapons to protect King's Landing. She also captured Ellaria and poisoned her daughter with the same poison used to murder Myrcella. She keeps Ellaria alive to watch her daughter die and rot. Ellaria used Cersei is always scheming so I'm pretty sure she's already cooking up something and will do anything to accomplish whatever she's thought of with The Mountain and Euron Greyjoy by her side. Jamie abandoned her at the end of season 7 to travel North.
JAIME LANNISTER
Jaime has had a great amount of character development from season one to seven. From pushing Bran off the tower to losing his hand and now he's expecting a child with his sister, Cersei. Jaime still has a lot of love for his brother Tyrion and his feelings for Cersei have put him in a conflicted position. He almost got killed by one of the dragons in season 7 and I really hope he makes it to the end of season 8.
TYRION LANNISTER
Tyrion has been behind Daenerys for a while now and he believes she will seat on the throne. He pledged himself to Daenerys which led him to being named the Hand of the Queen. He was able to convince Cersei that taking down the undead was more important than fighting with Daenery's for the throne.
ARYA STARK
Arya.... oh Arya. I'm obsessed with this character and how much she has fought for her life. She has gone through so much and I'm so proud of her and how far she has come. She's such a badass!! She's finally back home in Winterfell and she and her sister Sansa have become closer than ever after they both played Littlefinger, exposed his deceptive ways and got him executed. She's better with her sword and from the trailer, she'll most likely be part of the Battle of Winterfell. I just hope she'll survive it.
SANSA STARK
Sansa has been trying to get back to Winterfell ever since her father was executed by Joffery. She's finally back home with Arya and looking over Winterfell while Jon is away with the Mother of Dragons. She sent Brienne to represent her in King's Landing after she got an invitation to be present at the meeting with Daenerys, Cersei and Jon. While  She was not the smartest but she was able to escape Joffrey, Ramsay Bolton and became aware of Lord Baelish's schemes. She allowed Sansa to slit his throat at the end of the season. Sansa has also seen a tremendous amount of character development and has grown from a naive girl to a really strong woman.
BRAN STARK
Bran has become the Three Eyed Raven and now he sees and remembers everything. At the end of season 7, we were able to confirm the true identity of Jon Snow through him.
JON SNOW
Jon Sn.. excuse me, Aegon Targaryen has been revealed to be the true heir to the throne and the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark which means he's Dany's nephew. He refused to bend the knee to Daenerys but instead he asks for her assistance fighting the White Walkers. Jon is fully behind Daenerys and her fight for the Iron Throne so things are going to get a bit murky when they both find out about his true parentage.
DAENERYS TARGARYEN
Daenerys sent her Unsullied army to invade Casterly Rock but she ended up losing to the Lannisters. She also sent her Dothraki army to ambush the Lannister army while they were on their way to King's Landing from Highgarden. We all thought Daenerys was next in line for the throne but now that we know that Jon Snow is actually next in line, I wonder how it'll affect the dynamics of their relationships seeing as their relationship is now of a sexual nature. Daenerys lost one of her dragons, Viserion to the Night King who killed him by throwing an ice javelin and piercing him. Viserion has unfortunately become part of the army of the undead and he now breathes ice instead of fire. The Battle of Winterfell is going to be really icy.
THE WHITE WALKERS
Last season, the Night King and his army took down the centuries-old wall using Viserion who's now breathing Ice instead of fire. The Army of the Dead are going into King's Landing and gunning for battle with the humans. Get your coat and your bag of chips, Winter is here.....

  1. At the end; Jon seats on the iron throne, and Arya rules the North. The rest can all die.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el

Deepwater Horizon

Theatrical Release Poster Deepwater Horizon is a true life movie based on the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig on April 20, 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana. The movie starts with us meeting Mike Williams (Mark Wahlberg), his wife Felicia (Kate Hudson) and their daughter. We also meet Andrea Fleytas (Gina Rodriguez) as she's dropped off at the heliport on a bike by her friend. Mike and Andrea meet one of their bosses, Mr. Jimmy (Kurt Russell) at the Heliport. They all board the helicopter and are taken to Deepwater Horizon. At the rig, there's a lot of talk and conversation about the condition of the rig. Caleb Holloway (Dylan O'Brien) and Mike Williams (Mark Wahlberg)  The BP executive, Donald Vidrine (John Malkovich) doesn't support the tests ordered by Mr. Jimmy and some of the employees including Jason Anderson (Ethan Suplee), Caleb Holloway (Dylan O'Brien) and Andrea Fleytas (Gina Rodriguez) are also very concerned about
