Penn Badgley is a Psychopathic Stalker in Netflix's "You"- Season One Review


   When a bookstore manager crosses paths with an aspiring writer, he uses the internet and social media to get very intimate details about her in order to get close to her and make her fall in love with him. It starts as a crush but quickly escalates to an obsession leading him to quietly and strategically remove any obstacle in his way. Based on Caroline Kepnes' novel of the same name, The Psychological Thriller stars Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail and Shay Mitchell. You is a very dark and twisted show but its also really sexy too. You get to know this really good looking book store manager who has a way with words and is willing to do ANYTHING for the one he loves but it gets really creepy quickly when you realize he thinks love is the ultimate key above every other thing. Joe's good today and bad tomorrow. One minute he's hitting someone with a stone on the head and the next minute he's helping a single mother take care of her son. He's an anti-hero and you can't help but fall in love with this psychotic character. Badgley was the perfect actor for this role. His mannerism and his narration made each episode better than the last. He made his creepy activities seem alluring and very interesting. I became obsessed with You because of him and I ended up binge watching the entire season in less than three days. Badgley was absolutely astounding and he played the lovable serial killer so well.
   Elizabeth Lail was fantastic as the naive girlfriend who's still trying to find herself as a writer. Joe thinks she wants to be rescued so he swoops in as her knight-in-shining-armour-bookstore-manager who helps her get her writing in check. According to Joe, Beck needed him for her life to be perfect. And it was, for a while before everything started falling apart. Beck was portrayed as a a smart writer but she ended up being the dumbest character on the show. I couldn't get enough of Shay Mitchell as the crazy best friend who's refusing to admit her real feelings. I thought she was a mini joe because she was just as obsessed with Beck as joe was and they were both fighting for her attention. I saw You without reading a single review or watching  a trailer and I'm really glad I decided to see it. It was very unpredictable and twisted. Everything about You was amazing and that finale left me really shocked. There's so much we don't know about Joe's past and we may be getting more of that in the second season. There are still a lot of loose ends that need to be tied before Joe's life can go back to being somewhat normal. There's Dr. Nicky, the P.I and of course Candace. I can't wait to see season two.

Goodbye Mike & Rachel- Suits' Seventh Season Finale Review

  Suits is one of my favorite Legal Drama's and for some reason, I'm still very invested in the show after 7 seasons. I don't think they've had any bad season and they've done such a great job with the growth and development of the major characters but the time to say goodbye to Mike and Rachel was finally here. Due to the fact that Meghan Markle would be getting married to Prince Harry, I guess it was a good time to wrap up her love story with Mike and they do this with the fairy tale wedding we've all been waiting for. Mike and Rachel have been an item since the first season and have been engaged since the fifth. They would have been married a season ago but were not able to because of Mike's time in prison. I always loved their chemistry and I was so sad to see them say goodbye and more than anything, I loved Mike and Harvey's relationship. It was so genuine and pure. SUITS: Season 6 finale

        The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional.
