Review- Deadpool 2 (2018)

We're in the era where movie theaters are packed with people watching Superhero movie every other week. A lot of people, including me count down to the days when our favorite movies premiere and that was exactly the case with Deadpool 2 .Wade Wilson aka Deadpool brings together a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy with supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling mutant, Cable. After watching countless promos, I was sure that this movie was going to be amazing. And it was! I've never seen a marketing campaign more ferocious than Deadpool's! Every single picture or video they released was a hit.To be completely honest, the first Deadpool didn't really do it for me. I enjoyed it but I didn't think it was as fantastic as everyone said it was. It felt a bit forced.

But this sequel was worth every single hype. Ryan Reynolds was the perfect actor for this role and once again, he killed his performance. Deadpool is on a path of self discovery and to do that, he has to rescue the very fiery (no pun intended) teenage mutant Russell Collins aka Fire fist before he kills his wicked headmaster and becomes evil in the future. Josh Brolin as Cable was fun to watch! He looked and played the part exceptionally well. I just kept wondering how he was able to secure two different roles in the MCU. It was laugh-out-loud funny and I particularly liked the soundtrack and the CGI. My favorite character had to be Domino played by Atlanta's Zazie Beetz. She was amazing and bad ass! I couldn't get enough of all the shades he threw at almost every MCU character. The humor wasn't forced in any way and everything flowed seamlessly. The action was so well choreographed and the soundtrack was simply awesome. It had the right amount of humor, gore, violence and swearing. There are two post-credit scenes and the second was way too hilarious. It's not in any way related to the film's plot but it cracked me up so hard. It's very rare for a sequel to be better than the original and I'm so glad I wasn't disappointed. I can't wait for Deadpool 3.

RATING 9/10

  1. Click zmovies watch Deadpool 2 free online now. Deadpool 2 has its share of funny moments and action but there is so little in the wy of plot that it's impossible to care what happens to anyone. What plot there is doesn't even really start until about 45 minutes into the movie. The first 45 minutes is like an extended prologue that should have been cut to a montage in the opening credits. The best thing in this film was Domino, the female character whose superpower is that she's lucky. The other new characters are totally forgettable. Even the kid from Hunt for the Wilderpeople is wasted here. His character isn't likeable and doesn't even have any funny lines that I can remember. There were lots of moments that were meant to be serious, but with the lack of any conflict these parts were just boring. And whenever it did get funny, it usually had nothing to do with the plot. Overall this film is badly paced and structured, with a plot that's barely there.

  2. Part of the charm of Deadpool was its inherent shabbiness. Made on a shoestring budget (at least by the standards of superhero/action movies), Deadpool turned its discount elements into a strength by making it part of the joke. Deadpool 2 has the benefit of having about twice the budget as its predecessor, which gives it a lot more flash in terms of its action pieces, but it still manages to maintain that industrial and minimalist aesthetic of the first m4ufree And popcornflix

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el
