Homeland Season 7 Finale- "Paean to the People,"

I've been a huge fan of Showtime's Homeland since 2011 and I think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. Season after season, they've continued to prove to the viewers why they deserved all the Emmy awards they received. I never thought it got better after Brody's death but it was still good nonetheless. Claire Danes is such an amazing actress and she delivers once again in the seventh season finale titled  "Paean to the People". To be honest, the sixth and seventh seasons have been  my least favorite mostly because I never got invested in the Elizabeth Keen story line. It was boring to me and I wished Carrie was kicking ass in another country. Although, the season has been quite emotional for Carrie with the loss of custody of Frannie and her struggles with Bipolar Disorder.   I was a bit glad that Carrie left the CIA but somehow she sunk in deeper than ever in season seven to the point of sacrificing herself once again for her nation. When...

Review- Avengers: Infinty War (2018)

Image via IMDB.com I’ve been looking forward to Infinity War for months and to be very honest, I don't think I’ve looked forward to any movie as much as I looked forward to this one.  I was really excited about Black Panther and I couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks but I was speechless after the post-credits scene of Infinity War. I kept asking myself how a movie could be this amazing. How do they even do it? Thanos emerged from the shadows to collect all the Infinity Stones and destroy whoever was in his way. He needed the stones to control everything and everyone. The fate of the world was uncertain and everything the Avengers had done led them to this particular moment. Image via IMDB.com When last did we see huge actors and characters in one screen? I can’t remember. Infinity War is one of the biggest films of 2018 and probably the best Marvel movie yet because they got everything right about making a superhero film. I didn’t expect anything less f...

Goodbye Mike & Rachel- Suits' Seventh Season Finale Review

Suits is one of my favorite Legal Drama's and for some reason, I'm still very invested in the show after 7 seasons. I don't think they've had any bad season and they've done such a great job with the growth and development of the major characters but the time to say goodbye to Mike and Rachel was finally here. Due to the fact that Meghan Markle would be getting married to Prince Harry, I guess it was a good time to wrap up her love story with Mike and they do this with the fairy tale wedding we've all been waiting for. Mike and Rachel have been an item since the first season and have been engaged since the fifth. They would have been married a season ago but were not able to because of Mike's time in prison. I always loved their chemistry and I was so sad to see them say goodbye and more than anything, I loved Mike and Harvey's relationship. It was so genuine and pure. The two final episodes of the final season of Suits aired back to back and...

Praise Be! The Handmaids Tale Is Back!

Praise be! The Second season of one of my favorite shows premiered on Wednesday, April 25th and if you've been following my social media, you"ll see that I've literally been counting down and anticipating the return of the award wining show. Season one blew my mind and I haven't been able to stop talking about it to anyone that cared to listen. Season one ended with Offred getting shoved into the back of a van and it left us wondering what was going on and where they were taking her. Season two continues from this point and we find out that it’s just Aunt Lydia trying to play her mind games with the handmaids. To be honest, I shed a tear when they put the ropes around their necks. I thought at least one of them was going to die. This was such an emotional scene and I keep asking myself how these actors deal with such intense scenes. Aunt Lydia is truly evil and she wasn’t playing when she told the Handmaids that there were going to be consequences for their refus...

Review- Rampage (2018)

Dwayne Johnson stars as Primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, incredibly rare albino silverback gorilla who has been in his care since he rescued the young orphan from poachers. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with discredited geneticist Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris) to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend. I've always been a huge fan of Dwayne Johnson and I never turn down the opportunity to see his films. I'm always down for whatever he's cooking and even though it scores 1% on Rott...
