Scandal Mid Season Finale- "Something Borrowed"

Image via TVline.com
In the last episode, we found out that Quinn was kidnapped on her wedding day and QPA, Olivia and Jake have been searching for her all over the city. It was revealed in this episode that Olivia's father, Eli was responsible for taking her and planned to use her as leverage for his freedom and Dinosaur bones. Yes, you read that right! Dinosaur bones. Olivia tries to seek advice from her mother who tells her to let Eli kill the very pregnant Quinn to which Olivia angrily stormed out of the apartment.

"All your problems go away if this bitch dies. You let the clock run out, and you do nothing."

After a meeting with Olivia's secretary, Lucy, Curtis ends up dead and Lucy calls Jake to say "It's done". Is Lucy part of Jake's extra curricular activities? Over a glass of wine, Olivia admitted to Jake how tired she was of the never ending games with her father and Jake replied that she needs to get rid of him.

"I'm sorry, Olivia, but you can't have it all. Come out of the shadows. Make your choice. Are you Command or not?"

When the time runs out, Olivia gets summoned by her father and they have a heated conversation where he pulled a gun on her and she screamed at him to pull the trigger. She then takes out her phone and puts a kill order on her father and tells him how he ruined her life by making her exactly like him. Eli walks out of the room and two gun shots and screams from a woman (perhaps Quinn) followed. He walked back into the the room and asks Olivia, "Do you want to see the body?" Olivia almost collapsed when she heard the gunshots so I'm really hoping it's not Quinn. But, everything happening is still her fault and I'm just waiting for Mellie to find out about what she did to President Rashad. This wasn't the best mid season finale but it was still interesting to watch and I'm looking forward to the return. Who was the woman screaming ? Is Quinn dead? I don't think she is. Where did Lucy come from and who is she? We'll have to wait to find out when the show returns January 18, 2018.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el
