Jane The Virgin: Season Three Premiere

Jane the Virgin returned with its third season on Monday and it picked up from where it stopped last season. Jane and Michael got married and Michael was shot by Sin Rostro on their wedding night, Petra was drugged by her evil twin sister and mother and was in the hospital unable to move or speak and Xiomara found out that she was pregnant with Esteban's baby.

During the episode, Jane, her father, mother and grandmother are at the hospital scared for Michael's life. Flashbacks reveal how Michael and Jane started and flash forwards show what would become of their family if he survives. Jane and her Mother In-law are fazed with the decision of letting the doctors operate on Michael but they are skeptical that Michael would not survive it. They finally agreed and he is taking away for surgery but not before Jane promises to get him a cat when they leave the hospital together.

Rogelio begs a couple of guys not to tweet that he was in the hospital and agrees to pee in a cup for them. Xo confesses to Rogelio that she's pregnant with Esteban's baby but has made the decision not to keep it. During the flashbacks, Jane had a crush on a guy named Sam for 17 months and he finally asked her on a date which she agreed to forgetting that she had a date with Michael. She lies to Michael that's she's sick but he sees her all dressed up, getting into Sam's car so he pulls them over and confronts Jane. When she goes to his office to apologize, they end up arguing and calling each other names. Michael shows up the next day to apologize and demands another kiss after Jane tells him to walk away.
Back at the hotel, Anezka, Petra's evil twin was trying to get away from the detectives to give her sister another dose of the drugs to further paralyze her -code name "freeze the chicken"-. She eventually succeeds in  convincing Rafael and the detectives that she needs to see her sister and she injects Petra when the Police Officer looks away. Rafael agrees to Anezka's plan to bring Petra back to the hotel to be close to her and angrily tells her mother Magda that she's ready to go ahead with the yet to be revealed plan when Rafael says he wants to remain friends.

Michael makes it through the surgery to the delight of everyone, including his police friends who stop by the hospital to show support. The episode ends with Rose and Louisa escaping in what looks like a submarine.
Jane is going to be yet again involved in another love triangle which seems a little bit repetitive to me considering she just got over the Michael/Rafael drama. While Petra is struggling on the hospital bed, Jane is on the other side praying for the life of her new husband. These two aspects, yet different go together and compliment each other. The narration, as always is perfect with that swing of humor we've come to know the show for. I can't wait to see what the writers have in store for this season.

Random Thoughts
1. Was I the only one praying that Michael died? I never really liked him and I just think his character is boring. I still hope that Jane ends up with Rafael or someone else other than Michael. #TeamRafael
2. I literally couldn't stop laughing for minutes when I saw #EsteBunInTheOven #EsteBarf on my screen.
3. The episode was quite sad to be honest and I kept screaming in my head for Petra to move or say something. I pray she gets out of that situation soon.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I c...

"Don't Tell Mama"- The Shocking Sharp Objects Season Finale

Sharp Objects easily tops the list of my all time favorite TV Series. The HBO Limited Series aired it eight and final episode last night and it's something I'll probably never forget. I'm trying so hard to find the right words to describe this amazing show and the phenomenal acting from Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson and Eliza Scanlen. They were just too perfect. Throughout the season, we've all been trying to figure out who the killer was in this whodunnit and I had so many theories. I never believed it was John Keene because most times, it's always the person you least expect that'll end up being the perpetrator. My first suspect was Alan (Henry Czerny), Adora's husband and Amma's father. I thought the only reason he would venture out to killing teenage girls was due to the fact that he was no longer as had a bond with his daughter and his loveless marriage but I was so wrong. Then I thought it was the Police Chief, Bill who was in cahoots with Ado...

Chicago Justice: Series Premiere/Crossover Episode-"Fake"

Image via imdb.com I looked forward to seeing Chicago Justice after it was announced because I love the One Chicago universe even though I'm yet to see the other shows, i'm very familiar with their stories and characters. I'm a crazy fan of Chicago PD so I'm going to binge watch all the episodes of Chicago Fire, but I don't think I'll be able to see Chicago Med. Medical shows are too emotional for me. With Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, I don't know where to start from, but I'll binge watch from season one to eighteen whenever I can for sure.  The four part crossover started with an episode on Chicago Fire and concluded in the season premiere of Chicago Justice. There is a fire at a warehouse and the Chicago Fire crew think it's an accident but Severide (Taylor Kinney) finds metal wedges shoved under the door which means whoever started the fire wanted everyone trapped inside, so its arson.
