Review-My wife and I (2017)

After Ebere (Omoni Oboli) and Toyosi (Ramsey Nouah) visit Pastor Theophilous (Sey Law) to seek counsel for their marriage, he prays for them and the next day, they wake up in each other's bodies. They are forced to have each other's lives while searching for a way to switch their bodies back. The whole body switch story has been done like a million times but probably not in Nollywood because this is the first I'm seeing and it wasn't bad at all. I was a bit excited to see this film not because of the story, which wasn't anything new, but because of Nouah and Oboli who are two of my favorite Nollywood actors and they both played their roles perfectly. They team up again after starring in Kunle Afolayan's "The Figurine" 10 years ago.
Almost every Nollywood film I see always has a problem with makeup. Oboli woke up almost every morning with complete makeup on here face. Some of the scenes, especially the ones with Seyi Law were totally unnecessary and I felt like the movie could have been wrapped up in less than an hour 40 minutes. I think they also had a issues with the sound because in a few scenes especially the prayer meeting scene of the second couple looked like someone else and not the characters were talking.
There were a few laughs here and there, but nothing really stood out in the film but the audience seemed to love it because they kept giggling after every scene. Nevertheless, I'm glad Nollywood filmmakers are thinking outside the box and making movies different from what they've been doing, Bunmi Ajakaiye and Chinaza Onuzo deserve credit for that.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I c...

Goodbye Mike & Rachel- Suits' Seventh Season Finale Review

Suits is one of my favorite Legal Drama's and for some reason, I'm still very invested in the show after 7 seasons. I don't think they've had any bad season and they've done such a great job with the growth and development of the major characters but the time to say goodbye to Mike and Rachel was finally here. Due to the fact that Meghan Markle would be getting married to Prince Harry, I guess it was a good time to wrap up her love story with Mike and they do this with the fairy tale wedding we've all been waiting for. Mike and Rachel have been an item since the first season and have been engaged since the fifth. They would have been married a season ago but were not able to because of Mike's time in prison. I always loved their chemistry and I was so sad to see them say goodbye and more than anything, I loved Mike and Harvey's relationship. It was so genuine and pure. The two final episodes of the final season of Suits aired back to back and...

"Don't Tell Mama"- The Shocking Sharp Objects Season Finale

Sharp Objects easily tops the list of my all time favorite TV Series. The HBO Limited Series aired it eight and final episode last night and it's something I'll probably never forget. I'm trying so hard to find the right words to describe this amazing show and the phenomenal acting from Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson and Eliza Scanlen. They were just too perfect. Throughout the season, we've all been trying to figure out who the killer was in this whodunnit and I had so many theories. I never believed it was John Keene because most times, it's always the person you least expect that'll end up being the perpetrator. My first suspect was Alan (Henry Czerny), Adora's husband and Amma's father. I thought the only reason he would venture out to killing teenage girls was due to the fact that he was no longer as had a bond with his daughter and his loveless marriage but I was so wrong. Then I thought it was the Police Chief, Bill who was in cahoots with Ado...
