Image via imdb.com I'd been looking forward to seeing Christopher Nolan's (Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Inception) Dunkirk because he's one filmmaker that never disappoints with his work and he delivers on every level with Dunkirk. The war movie which is set in 1940 tells the story of a group of Allied soldiers from Great Britain, France & Belgium. They find themselves surrounded by the Germans on the beach of Dunkirk, France. The evacuation of almost 400,000 men becomes threatened when they are constantly attacked by the Germans. I'm trying so hard not to give too much of the movie away but I was blown away (no pun intended) by how beautiful this movie was.
