The Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) directed movie Passengers stars two of Hollywood's hottest actors, Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence as two out of 5,000 passengers on a commercial spacecraft making a 120 year voyage to the new planet Homestead II. Jim Preston played by Chris Pratt wakes up accidentally and realizes that he's the only one awake. He finds out that he would have to be alone for 90 more years and when he finds Aurora Lane's (Jennifer Lawrence) pod, he becomes obsessed, falls in love and struggles with the decision of waking her up which he tells the robot bartender Arthur (Michael Sheen). He eventually wakes her up but she thinks her pod malfunctioned.

Jim tells her he had been alone for a year and had looked for every possible way to go back to sleep and also wake up the crew. They both look for ways to survive on the ship and eventually go on a date. After a few dates, Jim decides to propose but while Aurora waits for him at the bar, Arthur tells her how Jim couldn't decide if he should wake her up or not and he had been in love with her even before he opened her pod. This news shatters Aurora's heart and she leaves the bar in tears. She tells Jim that he took away her life and refuses to let him explain to her.

By this time the ship had already started malfunctioning without them knowing. Another passenger, Gus (Lawrence Fishburne) accidentally wakes up and he joins them to figure out the ship's problem. His character was more like a cameo because he died only after a few scenes but not before telling Jim and Aurora to fix the ship. They eventually find out the problem and fix it and they try to tie up loose ends by ending the movie without the viewers knowing what truly happened to them after they fixed the ship. Did they go back to sleep? Did they have kids and get old? What did they do for 90 years on the ship? The ending definitely felt rushed.

The only amazing thing about this movie was the romantic chemistry between Aurora and Jim and the visuals which were quite stunning. I think it would have been a TV movie instead of a big movie project starring two of Hollywood's biggest stars. They looked so good together that it almost made me forget how mediocre the movie was with its weak dialogue. One scene I truly loved was when the gravity on the ship failed and Aurora struggled not to drown as the water in the pool rises with her in it. Although the first 30 minutes of the movie was okay, after a while the movie becomes a predictable bland science fiction. I feel like the filmmakers used these two stars because this has to be one of their worst movies yet. I was honestly interested in the direction of this movie, but it fell short of my expectations. I'm not really a fan of Science Fiction, but with Chris Pratt and J.Law, I decided to give this a try. Even with the few good moments, it's definitely not something I would want to watch again.

Goodbye Mike & Rachel- Suits' Seventh Season Finale Review

  Suits is one of my favorite Legal Drama's and for some reason, I'm still very invested in the show after 7 seasons. I don't think they've had any bad season and they've done such a great job with the growth and development of the major characters but the time to say goodbye to Mike and Rachel was finally here. Due to the fact that Meghan Markle would be getting married to Prince Harry, I guess it was a good time to wrap up her love story with Mike and they do this with the fairy tale wedding we've all been waiting for. Mike and Rachel have been an item since the first season and have been engaged since the fifth. They would have been married a season ago but were not able to because of Mike's time in prison. I always loved their chemistry and I was so sad to see them say goodbye and more than anything, I loved Mike and Harvey's relationship. It was so genuine and pure. SUITS: Season 6 finale

        The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I c...
