How To Get Away With Murder:Mid Season Finale

SPOILER ALERT!! Do not read if you're yet to see the mid season finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" which aired on Thursday, November 17.

Throughout the season, everyone was trying to figure out who was #UnderTheSheet and to be honest I never really expected it to be any of Annalise's kids. Most people had their bets on Nate, Frank or Connor. This question was answered on the ninth episode and everyone got to know that it was Wes Gibbons.

This was very hard to process especially for me because I always get emotionally attached to TV characters, I never got over the death of Will Gardner in The Good Wife, I was in tears for two episodes straight, which was over an hour. It was a really sad moment for a lot of people and then came another episode much like that one that just makes you want to punch your screen, get on a plane to the set of  How To Get Away With Murder, find Shonda Rhimes and Peter Nowalk and make them understand that their decision to kill off a very beloved character was not a good idea.

The extremely sad part was that Wes had a really sad life. His mother killed herself, his girlfriend Rebecca was murdered, his father was shot right in front of him and he'll never get to see his baby with Laurel. When he finally managed to catch a break and was happy with Laurel, he was murdered! I honestly felt like he deserved more. I wouldn't say that Wes is one of my favorite characters but his presence on the show was quite exhilarating and I'm still in grief over his death. At the end of the episode, the viewers got to see Wes' half burned face and as if this wasn't bad enough, Nate reveals to Annalise that Wes was dead at the time of the fire. So the big question now is "Who killed Wes?". Wes' death changes everything because the story line revolved mostly around him and why he has a special place in Annalise's heart. Social media users on Twitter and Instagram went crazy after the episode aired with some even saying they were done with the show. The show returns on Thursday January 19, 2017 following the sixth season premiere of Scandal so we'll see Wes in flashbacks as we find out who killed him. We just have to console ourselves with the fact that we'll still get to see a bit of Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbons. Alfred stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the death of his character and lets just admit that he looks and sounds so much better with his accent. You can check out the interview here.

SUITS: Season 6 finale

The 6th season of suits has been quite an emotional one with Mike's would be wedding with Rachel, his going to Prison and Rachel's death row case. Death row cases can get really sad especially if the suspect is innocent which was the case of Leonard Bailey (Glenn Plummer) who was accused of murdering two people. After staying behind bars for 12 years, Leonard Bailey was finally exonerated with the help of Rachel and Jessica (Gina Torres). During this episode, a major character said goodbye to the show. Gina Torres decided to leave Suits to film another TV Show 'Catch' and it was quite emotional. This episode showed a different side of Jessica Pearson, she put her pro Bono case first before the firm and fought for the freedom of Leonard Bailey.          Gina Torres will no longer be a series regular and I was happy her character wasn't killed off like Will Gardner in the Good Wife, (I cried for two episodes straight) which means

Review- Who's The Boss (2020)

Directed by Chinaza Onuzo, "Who's The Boss" follows Liah (Sharon Ooja) , an Advertising Executive who struggles to climb the cooperate ladder while juggling her mean and vindictive boss Hauwa (Funke Akindele- Bello). She takes the advice of her best friend Jumoke (Ini Dima-Okojie) and enlists her friend Lekan (Blossom Chukwujekwu), a known play boy into posing as her boss but ends up falling for him. It doesn't get any more cliche than this. After watching the first teaser for the Inkblot comedy, I was a little intrigued and looked forward to seeing how they were going to pull it off but sadly, it fell short in more ways than one. The biggest issue I had was the lead character and the actress cast to play it. Ooja has been typecast and I thought seeing her as the lead would show us a different side to the actress but my perception of her acting skills are worse than before. There's nothing worth remembering about this story and her acting did nothing to el
